Raesfeld Wasserschloss pictures

At the website from 'Musik Landschaft Westfalen' we found some nice pictures of the performance of the Oakcity Jazzband at the sunday breakfast concert of this festival.
Unusual for us to play our music at a classical music festival.
But, we had a lot of fun together, and so the audience was on our hand very soon.

Sittard Koninginnedag 2010

Harrie Hox, president of the commitee: "Looking at the many happy faces and spontaneous reactions , I think our intent is a hit here."
The Sittard Orange Committee wants to focus on the elderly residents on 'Koninginnedag' (Queens-day)and make this a tradition.

The visitors were treated an orange bitter and a delicacy.
Much attention went to the stalls with art and ancient crafts.

Also the performances of the Oak City Jazz Band from Maaseik (B) were popular.
Harrie Hox : "It was touching to see how many older people, especially the wheelchair dependent, were accompanied by (youth) volunteers."

Schlemmermarkt Wassenberg

Next Weekend we will be at the Schlemmermarkt in Wassenberg 2010.
